Intermediate ceramics and glaze course.

This course builds on the skills taught on the beginner course; further developing skills for creative experimentation.

You will learn to make your own glaze using the raw materials in glaze recipes. Learn how to adjust glazes with oxides and practice more specialised application techniques.

Clay techniques include: slab building design and more complex construction techniques than in the beginner course. We will also explore skills like pinching, coiling, sculpting, carving and expressive textural printing.
