Collection: Sun 11th Oct 2026 - Intro to Gelli Printing for Collage with Kathryn Jones-Romain

Gelli Printing is a super versatile and accessible form of printing, which can easily be done at home as there is no need for a printing press. Using acrylic paints this technique allows you to have fun with colour and mark making to create unique, one-of-a-kind monoprints - from abstract designs and patterns, to realistic images.

By the end of the workshop you'll have a created a selection of prints on different papers - from thicker mixed media watercolour to thin translucent papers and learnt how these can be layered and glued together to create your own collages. We will have explored a variety of pattern and mark making techniques looking at different ways  to lift the paint from the gel plate to create a range of textures and patterns - including wax resist and laser prints . Nothing is wasted in this workshop - you will go home armed with prints. A window mount for your collages is included in the price.

All levels welcome from beginners with no experience to those who have experience of printing and want to add Gelli Printing to their repertoire of mark making techniques.
