Collection: Sat 21st March 2026 - Beginners Calligraphy Taster workshop with The Modern Calligraphy Co

This full-day taster workshop gives you the chance to try both pointed nib and brush pen using a range of types and colours so you can see which you enjoy the most and explore the various effects that can be achieved with each.

Focusing on pointed nib in the morning,  working through our carefully structured worksheets, you will create letterforms using coloured inks and metallics. You will work onto beautiful templates, created by Kirsten Burke and create finished pieces that you can be proud of. 

After lunch, you will start your journey with brush pen calligraphy. Using many different varieties and colours, you will soon realise which are your favourites enabling you to create colourful, charming and vibrant calligraphy.
