Helen has been teaching and working with ceramics and glaze for 20+ years. Helen's breadth of experience is invaluable when it comes to teaching creative ceramics and glaze. This course gives students the confidence to try things out and push the boundaries of material and function in pottery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will make glazes from scratch, learn about oxides, engobes, slip decoration, application techniques, colour and texture in glaze. I also teach hand building with clay and slab construction techniques. Plus we will be inspired by contemporary and historic pottery design. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll materials, equipment and firings provided. This is primarily a course for people who already have experience with ceramics and glaze.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will finish a piece every week which Helen will fire for you.
